Preparation

To prep a large batch of breakfast sausage links or patties ahead of a busy service, use a conventional oven. This method works well for both frozen and thawed sausage—just adjust cook time accordingly, as noted below. 

1.5 oz.
Heat oven to 425°F/220°C. Place Jones Dairy Farm Sausage patties on sheet pan. Cook at 425°F/220°C to an internal temperature of 160°F/70°C or until outside surface is light to medium brown, about 22 minutes for thawed or frozen, turning sausage and rotating pan halfway through cooking time.

2.0 oz.
Heat oven to 425°F/220°C. Place Jones Dairy Farm Sausage patties on sheet pan. Cook at 425°F/220°C to an internal temperature of 160°F/70°C or until outside surface is light to medium brown, about 24 minutes for thawed or frozen, turning sausage and rotating pan halfway through cooking time.

Lightly spray a large skillet with no stick cooking spray. Place Jones Dairy Farm Sausage patties in pan. Cook over medium heat (375°F/190°C) to an internal temperature of 160°F/70°C or until outside surface is light to medium brown, about 9 to 10 minutes for thawed (16 to 17 minutes for frozen), turning often.

Lightly spray a large skillet with no stick cooking spray. Place thawed Jones Dairy Farm Sausage patties in pan. Cook over medium heat (375°F/190°C) to an internal temperature of 160°F/70°C or until outside surface is light to medium brown, about 13 to 15 minutes for thawed (15 to 16 minutes for frozen), turning often.

Place Jones Dairy Farm Sausage patties (about 24) into fryer basket, lower into hot oil. Cook to an internal temperature of 160°F/70°C or until the outside surface is light to medium brown, about 2 minutes, shaking the basket often for even browning. Use tongs to separate patties, if necessary. Drain on rack. *Standardized deep fryer temperatures vary, deep fryer cooking times may need to be adjusted.

2.0 oz.
Heat oil to 375°F/190°C*. Place thawed Jones Dairy Farm Sausage patties (about 12) into fryer basket, lower into hot oil. Cook to an internal temperature of 160°F/70°C or until outside surface is light to medium brown, about 2 minutes, shaking the basket often for even browning. Use tongs to separate patties, if necessary. Drain on rack. *Standardized deep fryer temperatures vary, deep fryer cooking times may need to be adjusted.
