These steamed dumplings are packed with savory Jones sausage, spicy fresh ginger, garlic and soy sauce.


16 ounces Jones Dairy Farm Breakfast Sausage, raw
1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, chopped
2 tablespoons scallion, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
16 wonton wrappers


Step 1
Mix sausage and all ingredients except wonton wrappers in large bowl.

Step 2
Use a small amount of water, brushed onto outside edges of wontons to soften edges.

Step 3
Place slightly more than one tablespoon of sausage mixture into middle of wonton wrapper.

Step 4
Gather moistened edges of wonton around sausage mixture. Using your hands, crimp edges of wrapper, so that mixture is barely visible at top of dumpling.

Step 5
Steam dumplings in covered container for 5-7 minutes, or until they are cooked through completely. To Serve: Place wontons on platter and serve with an Asian sauce. Hoisin or teriyaki with toasted sesame seeds and chopped chives create a wonderful dipping sauce.
