1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cornmeal
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
2 cups buttermilk
4 tablespoons maple syrup
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons sriracha
4 Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Fully Cooked Sausage Patties, defrosted and cut into small pieces
1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
4 large eggs, fried


Step 1
Preheat waffle iron.

Step 2
In large mixing bowl whisk together flour, cornmeal, baking soda, smoked paprika, baking powder and chipotle chili powder.

Step 3
In another bowl whisk together buttermilk, maple syrup, olive oil and sriracha.

Step 4
Pour buttermilk mixture into flour mixture and stir to combine. Stir in diced sausage and shredded cheese.

Step 5

Spray waffle iron with nonstick spray and cook waffles according to waffle iron directions.

Step 6
Top warm waffles with fried eggs and drizzle of sriracha.
