Product Information

24 ounces Jones Dairy Farm maple pork sausage links (30 links)
48 ounces refrigerated biscuits
24 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
12 ounces diced apples (leave skin on)
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F. Cut each sausage link into coins. Set aside. Cut each biscuit into 8 small wedges. Separate.

Step 2
Heat a large skillet over medium heat, and add sausage coins. Sauté until golden on each side, stirring occasionally, for about 2-3 minutes. Add apples, and continue to cook until apples are soft, an additional 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper onto meat/apple mixture and mix thoroughly. Remove from heat.

Step 3
Spray a large baking dish (full pan) with cooking spray. Lay half the biscuit pieces onto the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle half the meat/apple mixture on top of the biscuits. Top with half the cheese. Repeat another layer – biscuits, meat/apple mixture, and finish with cheese.

Step 4
Bake for approximately 25 minutes, until golden, and cheese is melted. Cut into 24 equal pieces.

*For added protein, scramble and cook 12 eggs, and add to baking dish on top of first layer of sausage. Finish as above. This will add 2.5g fat, 35mg sodium, and 3g protein to each serving.
