1/4 cups sweet hot mustard
24 slices sourdough bread
12 slices muenster cheese
24 slices Jones Dairy Farm Ham
24 apples, thinly sliced
24 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups low fat milk
1 1/2 cups maple syrup
Confectioners sugar
Fresh mint sprigs, optional


Step 1
For each sandwich: spread 1 teaspoon mustard over one side of one slice of bread. Top with 1 slice cheese, 2 slices ham, 2 slices apple and second slice of bread.

Step 2
Combine eggs and milk. Dip sandwiches into egg mixture to coat evenly.

Step 3
Grill sandwiches on preheated and oiled 325°F flat top grill approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side or until outside of sandwich is golden brown.

Step 4
Serve each sandwich drizzled with 2 tablespoons maple syrup and sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Garnish each with fresh mint sprig.
