3 tablespoons malted milk powder, divided
1/2 cup light brown sugar
12 slices Jones Dairy Farm Dry Aged Bacon
1 cup premium vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup whole milk
2 slices malted bacon candy stix, divided
1-2 tablespoons maple, coffee, caramel, or chocolate syrup, optional

Step 1
To make the malted bacon candy stix, preheat oven to 325ºF. In large, shallow bowl, combine 2 tablespoons malt powder and brown sugar. Dredge each slice of bacon in mixture to coat, then place on foil-lined sheet pan. Sprinkle any remaining malt sugar mixture over bacon. Cover bacon with another sheet of foil and top with same size sheet pan (pressing the bacon between the sheet pans to keep it flat).

Step 2
Bake 20 minutes. Check bacon; if it is not crispy, pour off any fat and return to oven to continue cooking, checking every 5 minutes. Once crispy, remove bacon from oven and place each slice on a cooling rack. Cool completely. Store stix cool, dry and flat.

Step 3
To assemble the milkshake, combine ice cream, 1 tablespoon malted milk powder, milk and 1 slice of candied bacon in blender; blend until thick and creamy but still chunky. Pour into tall shake glass garnished with syrup, if desired. Garnish with remaining candied bacon strip.
