3 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
72 ounces Jones Dairy Farm Boneless Ham, sliced into 12 steaks
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
3/4 cup merlot wine
1 1/2 tablespoons corn starch
1/3 cup cold water
10 ounces seedless green grapes, cut in half lengthwise


Step 1
Melt butter in large sauté pan on medium-high heat. Stir in sugar and ginger. Quickly brown ham steaks on both sides, about 3 minutes. Remove and keep warm.

Step 2
Add onions to pan mixture. Sauté 2 minutes. Stir in wine. In small bowl, combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Stir into wine mixture. Bring to boil on medium heat, stirring frequently.

Step 3
Boil and stir until thickened and clear, about 3 minutes. Add grapes and stire to combine. Serve one steak per plate covered with approximately one #16 ladle of sauce.
