Product Information


2 cups short grain rice
6 cups beef stock, warm
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 Spanish onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, sliced
2 Jones Dairy Farm All Natural Sausage Links
1 cup white mushrooms
1/2 cup peas
1 ounce pimentos, cut in strips
2 beefsteak tomatoes peeled, seeded, finely chopped
1 teaspoon fresh oregano
1 teaspoon fresh basil
2 teaspoons saffron
1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
1/4 teaspoon hot paprika
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste


Step 1
Cook rice according to directions and desired doneness using the stock, and reserve for later.

Step 2
Heat oil in sauté pan, add onion and garlic. Sweat. Add the sausage links and cook until almost done. Add mushrooms, peas, pimentos, and tomatoes. Simmer for a few minutes.

Step 3

Add herbs, spices, heavy cream, and season. Add cooked rice to mixture. Cook until rice is hot, and serve.
