Perfect for cooler months, it doesn't get more comforting than this creamy soup recipe made with naturally smoked Jones ham.
This recipe is made with
1 cup onion, chopped 1 cup butter or margarine 1 cup flour 6 pints milk 32 ounces Jones Dairy Farm Boneless Ham, diced 32 ounces broccoli, cooked and drained, cut into small chunks Salt to taste
Step 1 Sauté onion in butter in saucepan on medium-high heat about 5 minutes or until tender. Blend in flour. Step 2 Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Cook and stir on medium heat until thickened. Stir in ham and broccoli. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Step 3 Refrigerate, covered, until ready to use. Reheat and serve.
